Mind in the Mirror
In my final semester at CMU, I decided I'd take advantage of the university's breadth and take an art class. The Mind in the Mirror was my final project -- an piece of sculpture that learns from interaction. Participants wear a metal beanie which has a dual axis accelerometer to track head pitch and roll. As the participant moves, he or she is mirrored by the mask, and his or her motions are saved. When the participant stops, the mask responds with another's saved motion.№ 35/58
